The Clockspire
backThe Clockspire was originally built in 1864 as a school and has been carefully renovated back to its former glory, creating a stunning location for ingredient-led seasonal food and drink. The interior features bare stone walls, an exposed oak ceiling, and a polished concrete floor that complements the historic exterior.
The menu focuses on seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers, emphasising flavour, harmony, and balance. Diners can choose from the à la carte menu, a set menu available Wednesday to Thursday and Friday lunchtimes, the “Taste of the Clockspire” tasting menu, and Sunday lunch. Offering a casual take on fine dining, you can expect attentive service paired with delicious food.
Upstairs, the mezzanine bar, featuring a marble-topped bar and velvet-covered stools, offers a range of drinks, including cocktails. This is the perfect spot to enjoy an arrival drink while overlooking the dining area below.
On the last Thursday of every month, the Clockspire hosts jazz musicians from 7 pm to 9 pm, allowing you to enjoy the wonderful sounds of a jazz trio as you dine.
